Prance

Prance

Prance was probably the most successful one this year. Most of the people were dancing and overall we had made quite a bit for next year’s STUCO. Though I have to admit, being a STUCO president.. I probably wasn’t the best.. I mean I thought I could handle almost everything that was thrown at me, but I have a flaw in which I hate forcing and bugging people to do things. My way of thinking is that, I’m told once, I better do it and if I’m told again I’m screwed because I should have done it the first time. But I have come to realize that most people aren’t like that and that I as a president have to constantly be on them, telling them to get things done. If I could travel back in time, that is what I would do, plan everything out and have everyone be on time.
But anyways back to Prance, it was a lot of fun and I enjoyed seeing people enjoy themselves and encouraging people to go on stage and dance.

When I first woke up on the day of the prance I was already up early in the morning running around helping prepare for the big event. I went over to Amy's house and helped put the decorations in order and helped paint the back drop for the photography. Then after all of that was done, after about 7 hours, we headed over to PIC for last minute preparations and got all of the decorations in order. After that I headed home for a nice long hot shower.
After my shower I put on my best tux and then headed down to my Girlfriend's house to pick her up. Once I picked her up we went straight to 360 and had a nice romantic dinner together along with Amy and Abel and Mike and Shane.

If I had a Million dollars

What would you do if you had a million dollars? If I had a million dollars I would first put half of it in the bank for safe keeping. Once half of it is in the bank I would use one fourth of the other million to go into tax exemption! WOOO! Because my dad has always taught me to do that if I ever won the lottery. Ultimately I would have 250,000 dollars to spend as I please. The first thing I would do is help my father pay off the house and all the other debt which leaves me probably around 100,000 dollars respectively. With that money I would put a 90,000 dollar down payment on a modest three bed room two bath two story house with a small Jacuzzi and a nice open backyard. Considering I would be an anesthesiologist at the time I would be able to live very comfortably with my wife and kids along with our pet dog. Nothing fancy will be going on within the house hold mainly because I don’t feel the need to have fancy fast cars or fancy brand name clothes. The simple compact economic car would do just fine along with a moderately fuel efficient truck.

My favorite Season

My favorite season is... wait.  Wait a second.  There are no freaking seasons here.  There's just freaking hot season and freaking even hotter season.  So what the heck is this topic all about?!

Well... I guess out of the two seasons we have here, my favorite would be typhoon season.  That way the typhoon would come and we'd all get to skip school and go surfing.  And when typhoon season rolls around my mom stocks up on junk food and we get to eat it all and watch it pour outside.

For those of you who aren't in the know, Saipan's typhoon season runs from July to January - most of the nasty stuff happens in September and October though.  We're so relaxed about typhoons because 1, there's no way a tsunami would hit us because of the Marianas Trench, and 2, all of the buildings here are required to be made of concrete, so when it hits, we can barely feel it.
The worst that can happen is maybe some power outages and being stuck in the house for a day, but that's all not too bad.  I guess then I'll just have to talk to my family instead of logging ont to Facebook.  We turn on the radio, light candles, and cook pots and pots of soba on the gas burner.  The real big thing about the power outages that sucks would be the lack of water, which means flushing the toilet is limited to one flush per toilet, and then after that we have to find some water and manually put it in the toilet - otherwise we just hold it in.  But yeah, other than that it's fine.

It's kind of romantic, actually.  Being holed up in your house with candles burning and the rain hammering outside.  It's something that could definitely be used for some sort of novel or something; maybe I'll sell my typhoon stories with bored, suburbanite writers with lackluster lives, searching (and paying) for inspiration.

I wish we had all four seasons here, but I guess that would defeat the purpose of calling this place a "tropical island paradise".  In Georgia there will be some more variation, I think, but it still won't snow.  I'm thinking of going to my aunt's place in Oklahoma sometime this winter to make snow angels and such, but I'd definitely have to save up to go skiing anywhere.  Maybe I can get some people together and take a few trips, but who knows what will happen.

Only Song I Could listen to

Only Song

If I had to listen to one song for the rest of my entire life, I'd pick Beethoven's 9th Symphony.  Not because I listen to it all the time or anything, but because it's an epic battle song that people haven't gotten tired of for like 200 years.   200 years!  I mean, if it can stand that test of time, then I can certainly listen to it for a couple of decades.

Another nice thing about it is that it has no lyrics that will get old or repetitive to annoy me.  I mean, let's face it, the lyrics we hear now are probably going to be old in 10 years (aside from the Sinatras of our generation - if there are any).  Lyrics won't get stuck in my head, which is always a good thing.

Because it has no lyrics and it's like classical music, I can easily tune out of the symphony if I wanted to.  But that's only a good thing if I have to listen to the song on repeat forever - if not, I guess I could just turn off my iPod or whatever I'm listening with.

But I really hope I don't have to listen to only one song for the rest of my life.  Well, actually, I'm pretty sure I don't have to.  Instead, I get to listen to awesome bands like Foo Fighters, Panic at the Disco, the Civil Wars, and so on and so forth.  B)

My Perfect Holiday

My Perfect Holiday

My perfect holiday would look somewhat like that out of one of those action spy movies. Half of my time would be spent basking in the sun on a deserted island and then wandering about in the forest hunting for my food, or swimming about spearfishing.  On my spare time I would go up to the hill and practice my shooting with my Barret .50 cal and silenced special opp rifle. Once my day is about to end I would fly over to the mainland and drive into the nearest city spending a night around town gambling and having fun. Of course these would mean I wouldn’t have sleep for days on end, but that would be fine because I would be used to sleep deprevation. While on the island no other human beings must be on the island at the same time and no dangerous animals (except maybe a few wild pigs). The island should be at least a mile long and a mile wide with a mountain in the center of it, on top of it I would build a small simple open house (island theme).  The house will be solar and wind powered, outfitted with all green electronics. Inside there will be a big open bedroom surrounded with mosquito net. The house would really represent a cement house with no glass windows, just open. There will be an emergency satellite phone if something were to happen and a boat stationed inside a cave on the island to make any trips that may be needed.

What is beauty?

What is beauty?

Beauty is what is found within you. It is only seen in yourself, and that is where you see it in others. People think beauty is unique and it just comes to them, but really its the things that the people find beautiful are the things that they don’t have, Traits that the beholder doesn’t have, there for has desire and finds this person they are looking at beautiful. Beauty has two faces, physical beauty and emotional/mental beauty. But in this way of thinking beauty is seen as very shallow, because there are so many different traits, personalities, and sizes, that people allowing people to find so many different other people beautiful. Mental beauty is a beauty that takes time to get familiar with. A bond that is seen greatest amongst the blind, for they do not know physical beauty, and therefore seen people for who they really are in their personalities. What is beauty? beauty can only be described by which words cannot be described. That makes absolutely no sense but who cares its love. Love has no real reason but to reproduce … kidding! love is something that people feel for one another. A feeling that you need to protect and care for that individual, one that most people may think they have but don’t really. Some people think they have fallen madly in love with one person but realistically they haven’t. they are just massively infatuated with one person. Love is unconditional love for another. Everything they do for them is unconditional. Love is when you would do anything for that person and expect nothing in return, but there does exist that non official rule that what is given should be at least given as well. Some people experience “love” and think oh I love this person so much and then two years later go oh that wasn’t love we are young and we don’t know love. Love is unconditional love. Love is where you can be completely honest with someone and know that they will always be there with you, someone who will look after you and be there whenever you want them too, and someone who just shows their affection for you in public and not even care. Some people think you can find lover just talking to people over the internet or just talking to them on the phone for long periods of time and then you start to think oh I like this person, but that is completely wrong. Love can only be confirmed if you have seen them and been with them for long periods of time alone. Love is a physical thing as much as it is an emotional thing. Nothing is worse than giving someone false hope and no chances, false hope robs the people of the truth and gives them no chances to be with you. I am really making no sense here. I can’t think and my head hurts but whatever and I hate my keyboard because I can’t type properly. but yea love is basically a test whether or not you can stay with someone alone for long periods of time, if you can’t you might as well not be in a relationship if you cannot commit to one. Because in the end that’s what it is all about. Being able to commit your life to one person. It makes me mad that some people refuse to show their affection to their significant other. It like why even be in a relationship if you aren’t even going to give your other the attention they need when they have already given you all the attention you deserve. For some people they need to be reminded daily that they are loved, some longer, but the reason that people should do nice things for their significant other is because it shows that they care and that they love them. As human beings we need to be reminded because humans are forgetful. We are God’s most flawed creatures. Its dumb how people think they can measure their love for someone, to me its either you love them or you don’t, simple as that. If you are unsure just leave, life is about committing yourself and there should be no such things as an unsure answer. I would rather live a life only have loved once instead of having my heart or love spread over the world, because once you love you never forget. Because there is a special bond that is formed between the two and usually lasts a lifetime.

Okay today I want to talk about the people who have trouble with their morals… or really if I myself have trouble with my morals. As we seen in many great movies; platoon and Apocalypse now, we find that man is constantly in battle with not only his physical enemy, but also his own self morals. He is usually given an order but then usually always has this long arduous battle with himself on whether it is the right thing to do. We are at a time that soldiers need to have less conflict within their mind and just carry on with the mission they have been assigned with. This is why we need to improve our science and robotics division so we can send in drones to carry out missions. Yes we may have people behind the chair controlling these aircraft, but they are within a room thousands of miles away with a clear mind and conscious. People need to think of winning a war like this, there are “bad” people we don’t like trying to attack us and we need to destroy them. Think of it like surgery, we need to cut away skin and cause some bleeding before we can remove the infected part. Depending how big the problem is, we may need to cut a lot. Then our war that we fight in the future will only be a loss in money, not U.S lives. We need not to worry about those who die in other countries, because once they die they are forgotten, it is the un written law of death. Some may be forgotten later on in time but they will eventually become nothing. For those in other countries, they only become a number… an example “5 children die every five seconds in Africa due to starvation, disease, or murder” we don’t know exactly who they are or what they did.. they are just a number to us.

Friendly topic...

My most humiliating moment was when I was young, and during those years I was a very constipated child, and they had to insert a medicine through an area which will be left unnamed. My bowels had been blocked because I seemed to of had a fear of being inside the restroom on my own due to this horrid painting on the wall in all of our restrooms. Related to this is me telling all of my peers now that I had this problem when I was young.
Yea. These times were not the best of times, I was brought into the hospital every day for two weeks where I would have to bend down on the table as though I were an Indian praying to mecca, and I was a YOUNG boy I was scared for my life, I did not know what they were going to do with me, so of course the normal thing for a boy my age was to be scared @#$@$%34@% and yell out for help. I was not used to having people shoving stuff up there, let alone be back there at all.
The thing they were... yea.. was a solid.. it was in the shape of a rounded.. blunt...bullet... made of ice.. this is humiliating now that I think of it, and to think I am now sharing this story with my friends.  Not only did it look cold, IT WAS COLD! Felt like ice going on up and it was not pleasant. It was probably the most humiliating experience of my life due to the fact that I had to go into the hospital because I was constipated, given anal meds to help my problems and on top of that, 90% of the people that work at the hospital know me because my mom also works there.

Shikoku pt2 2010

On the first day I went to japan, we were riding through the city with cars all over the place. It was crazy, but thankfully all the Japanese drivers are very respectful of the bikers and do not try to run them over or honk at them. The reason we were rushing through the city was that we were suppose to get on a ferry that is about a two hour trip to the other island. The plan was to be there get on the 1:45 ferry, but once we got there we were already too late, and once we had gone to confirm our tickets we realized that the 1:45 ferry was non existent. So we had rushed all the way for nothing. We decided to go have some lunch and that is where my father and all his friends learned how to order beer in japan in various sizes. The time came around for us to head down to the landing area to get on the ferry and with a brief waiting period we got on the huge ferry. We all rode down this big empty corridor where the cars and semi trucks will soon fill. They chained our bike tight up against the wall of the ship and we proceeded upstairs into the common area. The ferry was very nice on the inside, with a few gambling games, and of course the all famous Japanese vending machines. There was a flat area for people to sleep too.
Once the two hours were up, it was dark and we had to bike another 17 blocks to get to our hotel. Luckily we had our gps system called the Garmin, that thing was a life saver. We reached out hotel, checked in and went up into our rooms before meeting back down in 15 mins to go out to dinner. The rooms in that hotel were TINY! You had just enough room to place your belongings and a place to sleep and take a shower.  Once we had changed in our tiny room we went out and roamed the streets for dinner. We asked a man if he could help us locate a restaurant that the conciser had suggested us. He very politely said yes and lead us strait to the place, but they were full. He then said for us to follow him because he said he knew another place to eat at. The man was soo kind and generous to lead us three blocks out of his way to a restaurant and when he wanted to thank him by inviting him in to have a drink, but he politely refused again and left. I will never forget that man who so generously helped us that night, and wouldn't accept anything in return.

Shikoku 2010

This month, October 5, I went to Shikoku, Japan for a bike tour. We biked all around Shikoku and it was a really fun experience. Japan is such a beautiful place, and the climate was nice and cool, perfect for biking. While I was there, I had gotten to experience all the different forms of riding, from biking in cites to the wide open back country to the express highways. Japan is a very bike friendly country and many people respect bikers. But some of the roads are kind of scary. Like in some of the mountainous areas, I believe the Japanese try to preserve the natural environment and create only a one lane road through the mountains. Occasionally there is a little edge for cars to go into just in case there is another on coming car, but other than that, that is all. There is only a mere guard rail that  rises above the ground at half a meter high to protect you from a certain death off a cliff face. The time that becomes really scary is when a huge semi truck comes by and leaves you about three feet of room, which you and your bike with paniers take up about two feet of that three. So basically you have six inches on either side of you from hitting a truck or falling to your doom. But it is all worth it when you get to where you are going, because every where you go there is atleast one perfect view of japans beautiful scenery.
But there is nothing better than finally getting off your bike and being able to check into your  hotel/ accommodations, because about 80% of the time, where ever you are staying there is a traditional bath, called an onsen by the Japanese people. In general terms, an onsen is like a hot spring, or a spa. It is almost a type of sacred bathing place for the people. You have to wear the convention Yokata, which is a robe, before you enter into the onsen area. You then must rinse your body before you enter the onsen, If you do not you have the possibility of being yelled at by other people for not being clean before thoroughly cleaning yourself. Another very important thing about the onsen is that you must go completely nude with possibly other men inside the onsen as well. Conventionally men and women are separate but there are a few of the co-ed onsens where both men and women are completely exposed. At first it is a very, nerve racking knowing there are other nude men around you, but then after a while you get used to it. There are rules that there should be no staring or any sort of nonsense, and people generally follow those rules.
One down side to the Japanese culture, is that when you go to bed at night after a long hard day of biking. The Japanese sleep on little lightly cushioned mats, called tatame mats. These are not all the comfortable to sleep on after a long ride. Another thing is that the pillow they give you, is like a rice sack. It is hard and feels as though it was filled with some sort of grain. Not all that comfortable but it was a place to sleep. I had some bad back pains after waking up in the morning and I felt like I didnt get much sleep, but after taking a quick moment in the onsen, it usually loosens things up.

Stream of Conscious 2000

Well ok I need to have this filled in with over 200 words and I really don’t know what to say except random things. I like writing stream of consciousness because it just flows… get it! Because it’s a STREAM of consciousness and a stream ‘flows’! hahahahha dang I crack myself up. Now I don’t really know what else to say because im kind of a boring person and nothing really intelligent comes out of my mind unless I really have something serious to think about. I really hate it when you are in an argument and then later on you start to come up with good come backs, I absolutely hate it I wish I could invent a time machine and go back in time to tell myself what to say. Like sometimes my girlfriend and I would have a small disagreement and we would argue over it. Over 90% of the time I would win, but later on I would think back and remember some of the other things I could have said instead of the other. Oh my god Mr.Lee distracted me and now im really behind on words >< Jaehee already has over 600 words and look at me I am practically less than 6 times his >< this is very disappointing.  Oh my got I get soo distracted. I really don’t want to do this but I really have no favorite memory. There are things that usually I just don’t really remember, I just live on and do whatever it takes to do well and live happy, which right now I am not all that happy but the only thing that really does make me happy is my girlfriend Josie. I have a sound hold on my relationship and im happy with it, but then you can have those things that don’t make you happy, like I am not happy with family issues of my grades…. Whatever. My hands are getting somewhat fatigued from typing this much . Im not really on the computer all that much and typing, usually just on the phone talking or texting and usually either reading or studying. I see my gf on a daily basis almost for about three to six hours. Which I think is a lot considering all the other people around.  As you can clearly see I am not the best in making these kinds of essays because im not all that good in grammar, neither am I good at spelling for that matter. I just seem to type on what needs to be typed and don’t look back. Sometimes I think that is a problem for me because I never really lok back in what I just wrote I just write and on top of that my keys are somewhat weird and my fingers feel wakward stumbling over the keys and such. I just feel mediocre at typing and being on the computer. My lefst hand seems to be more tired than the right one.  Owwwwwww My left hand just hand a cramp in it. This is horrible why would I ever do such a thing but this is life and my fingers are really slow at typing.

Cheating?

Cheating is still the same and always will be, when someone combines the word cheating and two or three people’s names together, there is usually a problem. Sometimes it can mean they were cheating on a test or possibly a game of some sort. The thing is that there are many different variations of people cheating. Some people only consider that is a girl/boy has a bf/gf and they sexually touch another person, they would be cheating. Some say its anything like kissing, maybe even just talking to them as well. To me cheating is “If it has to be hidden… It’s cheating” because in a relationship there mustn’t be any secret what so ever, because in a relationship you need 100% commitment and trust in each other.
Those that are very lenient and go as far as saying touching is considered cheating then that’s understandable because there might be some other cultures that conventionally are very touchy and go as far as kissing as a greeting. It would be understandable to have such a view where a ‘sex’ touch standard would be implied. Such as some of the few European counties like Spain who greets people by a slight peck on the cheek.
Then there are those cultures or people who view just kissing as cheating, because after all in most Asian societies, women are supposed to be very enclosed and distant. They are taught only to obey the husband or father and to keep out of men affairs.

Honeymoon

For my honeymoon I want it to be on a deserted island a few miles off the coast of a major land mass. There probably wouldn’t be such an island around here but if worse comes to worse, I will build one. No other human beings must be on the island at the same time and no dangerous animals (except maybe a few wild pigs). Everything that could possibly be needed to survive will be provided inside the house.
The reason I want to have my honeymoon here is because it ensures the maximum amount of privacy, it allows you to have the feeling of being alone with your loved one for a period of a few days or weeks. This is also a test to see if you can stand being alone on an island with your loved one. The island will have an abundance of fish, food plants, and animals to hunt to have that thrill of the kill sort of feeling. There will be an emergency satellite phone if something were to happen and a boat stationed inside a cave on the island to make any trips that may be needed.

Advertising: Information or Manipulation

Advertising is manipulation of the human mind to purchase a certain brand of product. Huge companies invest millions of dollars into advertisement in which they believe they are “Informing the public” of new and improved materials. Realistically within the advertisement s are subliminal messages that persuade people to buy that certain brand even though there may be other cheaper alternatives. Yes there is an understanding that the big companies have a lot of money and may be able to produce a more reliable product, but wouldn’t it be more reasonable is everyone handed out a product that was just as equal for the same low price. Big companies spend months creating commercials with small innate details to get people to buy their product. Things such as: Bright flashy eye catching commercials, people using the product (look happy and proud), back ground details, and sometimes to even go as far as even the way the logo looks, there can be a subliminal message without you even knowing it. There are many examples of big name companies adding subliminal messages into their logo/brand/ advertising. The main focus of their underlying message is ‘sex’ and professors say that without a doubt subliminal messaging works. The reason why this works so well is because the human mind or the subconscious is much strong that the mind that is on the lower level, or the conscious level. The subconscious level has a strong effect on what a person will do next. This is the reason why big name companies as gaining so much money, because they portray a subliminal message of sex, people are more likely to buy that product because subconsciously they are thinking about sex when they have it.

Romantic expressions

The three most romantic expressions I heard

The three most romantic expressions I have ever heard are “You are so good looking and I’m proud to have you as my boyfriend”, “You are the most special person to me”, and “You give me those fuzzy feelings”. The simple things that you usually expect from every relationship, but to me it’s these small things that I treasure the most, I may not be able to remember but hey that’s life and humans are very forgetful. Before, hearing these things was very strange to me, because I had never heard them very often in the past.  But now these are expressions that I have grown to love and I know that they are a sign of a person’s affection for me. The problem for me is that I’m not all the most romantic of people. I find it hard for me to express my feelings verbally nowadays, just because I have nothing to say, I can’t find the right words to say exactly what I mean and the only way I can find those words is if I sit and thinking about it for many hours on end.

My favorite dish is Fugu

My favorite dish is Fugu

Fugu is a rare delicacy found in Japan. It is the notoriously poisonous puffer fish. Yes people do actually eat these dangerous fish and the reason why I love it so much is because it is a very daring food to eat and its sort of a rush because you never know if the fish you are eating is going to kill you or not. That is the catch to eating the fish, because even a microscopic drop of the fish’s blood will kill you in a matter of seconds. Also not anyone can just catch this fish and cut it up. A government license mush be issued before you can even handle the fish because it’s so dangerous. It feels like you are a high official being served by the most well trained and qualified person. The down side is, the dish is very expensive and you have to call in advance because it takes a really long time to prepare (besides the fact you might die).
Firstly, one must go and catch the first, even for that you need a special license and you need to do certain things to make sure the fish don’t die (such as cutting the fish’s teeth so they don’t kill each other).
Then it must be taken to the world’s most prestigious fish market in Japan to be bought and taken to a local restaurant.
Once it is in the tank at the restaurant, a customer calls in advance and the expert chef begins to prepare the fish. First by hitting the fish on the head, but only to stun it, he then proceeds to cut open the fish being careful not to puncture any of the organs (where the most poison is). He then takes out all of the insides and expertly removes the eyes, all of these parts are extremely poisonous and if he so happens to cut himself just a little bit, he will die in seconds. Keep in mind that the fish still shows a sign of life (heartbeat) even after the chef has cut away the organs. The fish is then washed for over thirty minutes to ensure all the blood is gone. After washing the chef then proceeds the painstaking process of cutting the fish into paper thin slices, so thin you can see through it.
The customer is sat down in their own little room, which I believe is because if there was to be an accident you don’t want people to panic if he falls over and can finally begin to enjoy his delicacy…. Maybe for the last time for that matter.

Six precepts I would like to teach my dog.

Six precepts I would like to teach my dog.

When I grow older I would like to teach my dog how to sit, stay, attack, protect, find, follow, and bring. I choose these six tasks because I find them the most useful to my liking. I would teach my dog these tricks in no real order just as long as the dog follows the task to the end.
The reason I would teach my dog sit, is because it is the most traditionally seen trick to make your dog do in front of people. It is a trick that has been passed down by generations to impress anyone who comes over for a visit. It also shows that your dog is far superior to other dogs in intellect, being able to sit on command and shows that you are the alpha male.
Another trick would be to stay. For that time when people are coming over and you need the dog to stay put and stop barking. Those times where you need the dog to stay put while you entertain your guests.
My favorite trick would be to have the dog attack any intruder that so happens to set foot in my yard. Keep in mind that this will be a big dog and very hard to fend off once he starts his command of attack. He would be able to take down a full grown man without having to think twice.
Protect would be a command I would give my dog to follow around my child as they walk down the street to ensure they get to where they are safely. This command will take a long time to develop. Because not only does the dog need to understand but have the motivation to protect who ever or whatever the dog is protecting.
I think being able to find something is one of the coolest tricks ever, being able to tell your dog to go find the remote or maybe your child and within a few moments your dog will be barking for you to come to there the thing you were looking for is.
Follow, much like protect, is where the dog will obediently follow you wherever you go and occasionally point you in the right direction of where you needed to go. This is a trick that People would use for when you are hunting for wild game.
Lastly would be bring/ fetch. This trick I would use in coordination with find, because I would command “find and fetch …..” and the dog will obediently find the object and bring it to me. This is a trick that I would favor vastly if I ever need to find the remote, or need to find my child.
The reason I wanted these six tricks is because they are the basic functions of a human being, to be idle, and still, to be violent or loving, curious and inquisitive, and as well as useful. Well some of the basic functions, because of course I won’t be able to teach a dog to talk because their voice boxes aren’t cut out for the unnatural sounds we humans make to talk with different tones and accents.

YOLO?

Yolo? The meaning.. You Only Live Once
This phrase has been made popular by non-other than the rapper Drake. And people have been very keen on this way of life. Meaning since they have only one life to live, that they should go out and do crazy things and just experiment with life, go out and have as much fun as they can. When you think of this you think of people “burning the candle at both ends”, which means people are living their lives bright. But as everyone knows, a candle which burns at both ends does not last very long. People need to understand life is much like the candle, you are born and the candle is lit. As you get older you may want to burn your candle a little bit brighter so you tip it to the sides as let the wax drip off creating a larger flame to flaunt your audacity, or you can be outrageous and light the other side as well and just burn up the candle bright and beautifully. The thing is, there are bad gusts of wind at random times which represent the bad things that happen in our life. When one is burning a candle at both ends, It’s impossible to protect both ends and one dies out.. while as one that’s being burned regularly has a chance to be protected and even then sometimes we aren’t so lucky.
The thing is, the place I come from used to be a beautiful island where you almost never had to worry about walking five black away from your house alone. Now things are getting worse and people are going missing, being raped, or murdered on this 15 by five mile jungle infested island. The past two weeks I have had a very close friend of mine whose father and his older brother witness a woman being chased by a man who was attempting to rape her in Garapan (an area of the island) and she was trying to escape, running through the AMP nude while the man chased her with a pickup truck. Lucky my friend’s dad was there to scare off the man and save the woman. I don’t think they have found the man yet.. There is also a Sex offender who had spoken to one of my closest and dearest friends (Anyone I am a friend of is dear an close to me). Men like that don’t deserve to walk this plant if the people say that there is something in their brain that makes them do the things they do… Alas the one thing that has me worried the most.. There is someone truly special to me and something has happened. I don’t know what because she won’t tell me and I truly worry for her because she said it dealt with a guy and that’s all. She assures me that nothing has actually happened to her, but it was enough to shake her. Which is scary because this person is hard to scare and is very strong willed. I just wish that I had enough strength and power to prevent these terrible things.  I just hope she is ok, she doesn’t want to talk to me about it, but I would very much like to hear. She also says that she doesn’t want to tell me because I would worry and I probably will too… but I can’t help it if I care so much.

No to Yolo “It takes many years to make the life the way you want it, but only seconds and a bad choice to screw it up and have it never be the same”

Inventions?

Greatest invention

The world’s greatest invention would be the atomic bomb. The atomic bomb is seen as the world’s most powerful and destructive weapon of its kind, capable of wiping out an entire city within seconds and the ability to leave lasting effects of radiation within that area. The reason why I see this bomb as the greatest invention is because it enables the wielder of the technology to be the “top dog”, as Theodore Roosevelt once said “Walk softly, but carry a big stick”. This is the perfect reason why the atomic bomb is the greatest invention, because it is the “biggest stick” anyone can possess. Yes, it will instill fear in everyone who does not have the technology but though another reliable source we find that it is better to rule in fear than in love and compassion (The Prince by: Machiavelli), because not everyone will have the ability to love you but everyone has the ability to hate you, man is inherently evil. The atomic bomb is a one shot one kill thing, it leaves no time for the victim to retaliate and the immediate and after affects are so devastating they will think twice before attacking again. What are the possibilities that another country can possess such thing? Well protecting such weapon in secrecy is not easy. Either put a monopoly on all the parts that are needed to make such weapon, destroy any facility that has the ability to manufacture the chemicals needed for the weapon, or threaten the country until it gives in to stop manufacturing the bomb.  Yes there will be millions of innocent people who will be killed in the process, but that is why you do not attack those countries that are bigger or close to the same size as the wielder. Everyone needs a friend. Besides there are people all over the world saying that there are way too many people on this earth and that we have a problem of food shortages creating world hunger. This is the solution to world hunger, if we are taking much more than we can produce, take less. Simply getting rid of something that is a threat or a parasite, such as the people who are attacking you, we find it completely normal to dispose of the people. It is human nature to get rid of the weakest link, ones that have some sort of illusion that they can take down a person with a far superior weapon or strength. If we do not reinforce this matter we are interfering with the flow of nature..

Favorite book?

My favorite book

My favorite book so far is actually a book series, one of which is the book “A Madness of Angels” and “by Kate Griffin, based in modern London filled with magical beings. It is about a guy who wakes up finding himself in his room after he has just been killed (resurrection), but he is no longer the same person but two people fused together. Half electric angel, which are beings that live within the telephone wires as pure electricity and half Jonathon smith, whose body the angel has come to inhabit. He soon finds out that he has been gone from the earth for two whole years and everyone believes he is dead. Their main goal is to try to find out who killed Jonathon (attacked him). He embarks on a journey in which he encounters old friends and enemies that he must defeat to find out who had killed him. He makes new acquaintances and together they finally find out exactly who had killed him many years ago, it was his old teacher or his shadow. They believe when a person starts to die a part of them tries to hang on to life and sometimes their shadow becomes that evil that wants to keep alive and the reason they attacked him before was because they wanted to get the electric blue angels on to the earth so that the shadow can eat and obtain all of the energy the angel inside of Jonathan has. He defeats the shadow in one last heroic stand but loses a woman who he loves.
The way the author writes the book is much like modern time London, but in it adds the old mythic beliefs of magical and sorcery. There are to three other book in the series called the “Midnight Mayor”, “The Neon Court” and the “Redemption of Jonathon Swift”. I am looking forward to reading the whole series. I am already half way through the second and I have the third book in my possession, but the last one won’t be released till later this year.

What I fear the most.

What I fear the most?

Is the one sentence text saying “Help I’m scared”. There are numerous ways that one text can be interpreted. The worst part is that there is no way of contacting that person either. No matter how many calls are sent to that phone. No number of texts or calls will ever make that person reply. The only things that run through your mind at first are “Oh maybe they are getting their phone now and just replying late”. Then the seconds go by and your pulse starts to rise and you start to ask yourself “hmm what is taking them so long”. The minutes go by and you still haven’t received a text and you go “God I hope nothing happened” more minutes past by and you start to go into denial “Maybe they fell asleep, or they dropped their phone… etc”. Then right as you look at your phone again it has only been 10 minutes before your last text and you are worried out of your mind. The only thing you can do is sit there and pray that they are alright and hope they reply soon. Realistically you can take the time and drive all the way to the last known location of that person and look if they are ok or just sit and wait. Most people decide to wait, but very few actually go and check.
The funny thing is, all of this happens in a small span of 10 minutes, which people think “ohh that’s not very long” but it is. The average person can bleed out in as much as 5 minutes if they have a severe enough injury. A man can grab a woman and it would only take a matter of seconds to do so, with an added four minutes to get her somewhere secluded so he can finish the deed. A man can rob someone in less than thirty seconds and kill them in three. The thing is, the world is not really a safe place. I’m not trying to sound like some paranoid freak, but someone saying that people should show a little more concern when something as serious as this ever arises. At least be concerned, whether or not their friend is ok, because if they aren’t and you did nothing. You will never be able to forgive yourself.  Because it takes a life time to build up your life as you want, but only mere seconds to break it apart and leave nothing but ugly cracks.

What do I want to do after college?

What do I want to do after college?

After college I want to have a stable job as an Anesthesiologist living somewhere on the west coast married with two children (one boy one girl). I would have a modest house with a large backyard and a garden at the very end of it to grow fruits and vegetables, as well as a large deck with a grill and Jacuzzi. On the inside of the house I would have a large living room with a small T.V and a bunch of book shelves for books. Connected to it a large kitchen fixed with all stainless steel appliances: a gas range, a French door refrigerator, an oven, a big open sink, along with all the other pots, pans, and baking things I need, topped off with a large walk in pantry. Next to that a large dining room that fits ten. All the floors on the main floor will be covered in flat sedimentary rock tile and the basement in a beige carpet, as well as the upstairs. There will be a basement level which half of it will be a large play room/ man cave and the other half a panic room that is hidden behind a secret door disguised as a book case. The room houses all of the video data captured by all seven security cameras situated in and outside of the house. Also kept inside the panic room is about $5000 dollars in safe money, 5 hand guns with silencers, 3 high powered rifles, and a hunting bow (each gun will have over 20 cases of ammo each), enough food to last several people a month and a satellite cell phone (Just for kicks... there really is no real reason behind this). The upstairs will have a master bed room with a walk in closet and a master bath, and three double rooms each with its own small bathroom. At the top of the stairs will be a large spacious work room. Inside each of the rooms is a small secret door in the corner of the room that leads through a small tunnel behind the wall to a pole that slides down all three floors to the basement right outside of the panic room. Up in the attic will be an all padded room with nothing but a big window to see the night sky and star gaze.
During my long work hours I would try my best to make all of the patients I have feel as little pain as possible and usually play a game with them before I administer the sleeping medicine. Such as the counting game where I challenge them to count backwards from ten and see how fast I can put them down.

Love?

What is love? Love can only be described by which words cannot be described. I have already failed. Nothing is worse than having tried and ended up nowhere. To some people it doesn’t matter to them and I know as people are reading this they are probably going “I have been through worse” but how do you measure that? The thing is pain is relative, to certain people certain things trigger things in their minds that cause them to become upset. It just depends what they have been through. And I know some of you are probably going though “I have been through A LOT” and trust me every story I have ever heard (and I have seen a lot) EVERYONE says that. The truth is everyone is the same by being unique. Same problems, same feelings, but unique in how we ourselves see them. Love should be just a simple yes/no with unconditional feeling where you don’t have to ask for anything. Because we are also very alone on this world. We are born one at a time, and we die one at a time. All love is, is trying to find someone to hold us through until we depart again.  There are very few things on this planet I truly love, and they can be counted on my one hand. Even though everything on this planet is temporary, my love for those things is never ending because in our minds, things never die unless you let it. Yes both men and women have their fair share of false love, but that doesn’t mean all guys or girls are the same (I have heard this countless time). Yes women do sometimes act shallow and just go out with any guy they chose and not give into consideration what the other person feels, and yes guys can sometimes be total slime balls. But not everyone is the same. And I know some of you are like “psh whatever, they truly are” I would like to see you last a day in the real world, because our life is not that long. Take into consideration schooling which can vary from 18- 22-26 years until you finish college. Add an extra 4 years to get yourself settled down, get those nasty college debts under control, find a nice woman maybe. 30- 40 you are getting on in years and you decide to have children. After forty, you are starting to lose your youthfulness, your vigor if you will. That is only a ten year window to have children and for some people it takes years to have a child.
I hate people who are whiny.. or picky.. anything. It just frustrates me if you don’t try anything new because maybe for me I like to try new things every once in a while to keep my life from seeming boring, Im not saying people who don’t try new things are boring, but its just my poin of view. I hate people who criticize me and call me or other people ugly or fat or stupid… well you can go fall in a deep ditch because maybe you are you too. I hate people who make comments on other people’s appearance or thoughts, just because they think differently from you, doesn’t mean you can make nasty comments about it, and you may not think they are nasty but they are. Just stop and think for a moment on how you would feel if they said it to you. You would probably say “I don’t care” when deep down you probably do because you are just as flawed as everyone else, no one on this earth is perfect. I hate whiney people, I hate people who mock others, I hate people who just do stupid stuff for no reason, I hate people who are really lazy, why can’t people just love. Just be quiet shut your mouth and love. Be happy. No more hate. Sometimes I cant help but to hate people, because that is human nature, we just hate people. We would rather kill off anything or anyone that may oppose a threat to us, and the people whom I hate pose no real threat to me because I know I can take care of them, but they just annoy me, I have deemed them not worthy of living on this earth. They are a worthless waste of space and if it was up to me they better beg for mercy for I will have no mercy for them. I do not give out chances easily.
