My Perfect Holiday

My Perfect Holiday

My perfect holiday would look somewhat like that out of one of those action spy movies. Half of my time would be spent basking in the sun on a deserted island and then wandering about in the forest hunting for my food, or swimming about spearfishing.  On my spare time I would go up to the hill and practice my shooting with my Barret .50 cal and silenced special opp rifle. Once my day is about to end I would fly over to the mainland and drive into the nearest city spending a night around town gambling and having fun. Of course these would mean I wouldn’t have sleep for days on end, but that would be fine because I would be used to sleep deprevation. While on the island no other human beings must be on the island at the same time and no dangerous animals (except maybe a few wild pigs). The island should be at least a mile long and a mile wide with a mountain in the center of it, on top of it I would build a small simple open house (island theme).  The house will be solar and wind powered, outfitted with all green electronics. Inside there will be a big open bedroom surrounded with mosquito net. The house would really represent a cement house with no glass windows, just open. Everything that could possibly be needed to survive will be provided inside the house.. The island will have an abundance of fish, food plants, and animals to hunt to have that thrill of the kill sort of feeling. There will be an emergency satellite phone if something were to happen and a boat stationed inside a cave on the island to make any trips that may be needed.

What is beauty?

What is beauty?

Beauty is what is found within you. It is only seen in yourself, and that is where you see it in others. People think beauty is unique and it just comes to them, but really its the things that the people find beautiful are the things that they don’t have, Traits that the beholder doesn’t have, there for has desire and finds this person they are looking at beautiful. Beauty has two faces, physical beauty and emotional/mental beauty. But in this way of thinking beauty is seen as very shallow, because there are so many different traits, personalities, and sizes, that people allowing people to find so many different other people beautiful. Mental beauty is a beauty that takes time to get familiar with. A bond that is seen greatest amongst the blind, for they do not know physical beauty, and therefore seen people for who they really are in their personalities. What is beauty? beauty can only be described by which words cannot be described. That makes absolutely no sense but who cares its love. Love has no real reason but to reproduce … kidding! love is something that people feel for one another. A feeling that you need to protect and care for that individual, one that most people may think they have but don’t really. Some people think they have fallen madly in love with one person but realistically they haven’t. they are just massively infatuated with one person. Love is unconditional love for another. Everything they do for them is unconditional. Love is when you would do anything for that person and expect nothing in return, but there does exist that non official rule that what is given should be at least given as well. Some people experience “love” and think oh I love this person so much and then two years later go oh that wasn’t love we are young and we don’t know love. Love is unconditional love. Love is where you can be completely honest with someone and know that they will always be there with you, someone who will look after you and be there whenever you want them too, and someone who just shows their affection for you in public and not even care. Some people think you can find lover just talking to people over the internet or just talking to them on the phone for long periods of time and then you start to think oh I like this person, but that is completely wrong. Love can only be confirmed if you have seen them and been with them for long periods of time alone. Love is a physical thing as much as it is an emotional thing. Nothing is worse than giving someone false hope and no chances, false hope robs the people of the truth and gives them no chances to be with you. I am really making no sense here. I can’t think and my head hurts but whatever and I hate my keyboard because I can’t type properly. but yea love is basically a test whether or not you can stay with someone alone for long periods of time, if you can’t you might as well not be in a relationship if you cannot commit to one. Because in the end that’s what it is all about. Being able to commit your life to one person. It makes me mad that some people refuse to show their affection to their significant other. It like why even be in a relationship if you aren’t even going to give your other the attention they need when they have already given you all the attention you deserve. For some people they need to be reminded daily that they are loved, some longer, but the reason that people should do nice things for their significant other is because it shows that they care and that they love them. As human beings we need to be reminded because humans are forgetful. We are God’s most flawed creatures. Its dumb how people think they can measure their love for someone, to me its either you love them or you don’t, simple as that. If you are unsure just leave, life is about committing yourself and there should be no such things as an unsure answer. I would rather live a life only have loved once instead of having my heart or love spread over the world, because once you love you never forget. Because there is a special bond that is formed between the two and usually lasts a lifetime.

Okay today I want to talk about the people who have trouble with their morals… or really if I myself have trouble with my morals. As we seen in many great movies; platoon and Apocalypse now, we find that man is constantly in battle with not only his physical enemy, but also his own self morals. He is usually given an order but then usually always has this long arduous battle with himself on whether it is the right thing to do. We are at a time that soldiers need to have less conflict within their mind and just carry on with the mission they have been assigned with. This is why we need to improve our science and robotics division so we can send in drones to carry out missions. Yes we may have people behind the chair controlling these aircraft, but they are within a room thousands of miles away with a clear mind and conscious. People need to think of winning a war like this, there are “bad” people we don’t like trying to attack us and we need to destroy them. Think of it like surgery, we need to cut away skin and cause some bleeding before we can remove the infected part. Depending how big the problem is, we may need to cut a lot. Then our war that we fight in the future will only be a loss in money, not U.S lives. We need not to worry about those who die in other countries, because once they die they are forgotten, it is the un written law of death. Some may be forgotten later on in time but they will eventually become nothing. For those in other countries, they only become a number… an example “5 children die every five seconds in Africa due to starvation, disease, or murder” we don’t know exactly who they are or what they did.. they are just a number to us.

Friendly topic...

My most humiliating moment was when I was young, and during those years I was a very constipated child, and they had to insert a medicine through an area which will be left unnamed. My bowels had been blocked because I seemed to of had a fear of being inside the restroom on my own due to this horrid painting on the wall in all of our restrooms. Related to this is me telling all of my peers now that I had this problem when I was young.
Yea. These times were not the best of times, I was brought into the hospital every day for two weeks where I would have to bend down on the table as though I were an Indian praying to mecca, and I was a YOUNG boy I was scared for my life, I did not know what they were going to do with me, so of course the normal thing for a boy my age was to be scared @#$@$%34@% and yell out for help. I was not used to having people shoving stuff up there, let alone be back there at all.
The thing they were... yea.. was a solid.. it was in the shape of a rounded.. blunt...bullet... made of ice.. this is humiliating now that I think of it, and to think I am now sharing this story with my friends.  Not only did it look cold, IT WAS COLD! Felt like ice going on up and it was not pleasant. It was probably the most humiliating experience of my life due to the fact that I had to go into the hospital because I was constipated, given anal meds to help my problems and on top of that, 90% of the people that work at the hospital know me because my mom also works there.

Shikoku pt2 2010

On the first day I went to japan, we were riding through the city with cars all over the place. It was crazy, but thankfully all the Japanese drivers are very respectful of the bikers and do not try to run them over or honk at them. The reason we were rushing through the city was that we were suppose to get on a ferry that is about a two hour trip to the other island. The plan was to be there get on the 1:45 ferry, but once we got there we were already too late, and once we had gone to confirm our tickets we realized that the 1:45 ferry was non existent. So we had rushed all the way for nothing. We decided to go have some lunch and that is where my father and all his friends learned how to order beer in japan in various sizes. The time came around for us to head down to the landing area to get on the ferry and with a brief waiting period we got on the huge ferry. We all rode down this big empty corridor where the cars and semi trucks will soon fill. They chained our bike tight up against the wall of the ship and we proceeded upstairs into the common area. The ferry was very nice on the inside, with a few gambling games, and of course the all famous Japanese vending machines. There was a flat area for people to sleep too.
Once the two hours were up, it was dark and we had to bike another 17 blocks to get to our hotel. Luckily we had our gps system called the Garmin, that thing was a life saver. We reached out hotel, checked in and went up into our rooms before meeting back down in 15 mins to go out to dinner. The rooms in that hotel were TINY! You had just enough room to place your belongings and a place to sleep and take a shower.  Once we had changed in our tiny room we went out and roamed the streets for dinner. We asked a man if he could help us locate a restaurant that the conciser had suggested us. He very politely said yes and lead us strait to the place, but they were full. He then said for us to follow him because he said he knew another place to eat at. The man was soo kind and generous to lead us three blocks out of his way to a restaurant and when he wanted to thank him by inviting him in to have a drink, but he politely refused again and left. I will never forget that man who so generously helped us that night, and wouldn't accept anything in return.

Shikoku 2010

This month, October 5, I went to Shikoku, Japan for a bike tour. We biked all around Shikoku and it was a really fun experience. Japan is such a beautiful place, and the climate was nice and cool, perfect for biking. While I was there, I had gotten to experience all the different forms of riding, from biking in cites to the wide open back country to the express highways. Japan is a very bike friendly country and many people respect bikers. But some of the roads are kind of scary. Like in some of the mountainous areas, I believe the Japanese try to preserve the natural environment and create only a one lane road through the mountains. Occasionally there is a little edge for cars to go into just in case there is another on coming car, but other than that, that is all. There is only a mere guard rail that  rises above the ground at half a meter high to protect you from a certain death off a cliff face. The time that becomes really scary is when a huge semi truck comes by and leaves you about three feet of room, which you and your bike with paniers take up about two feet of that three. So basically you have six inches on either side of you from hitting a truck or falling to your doom. But it is all worth it when you get to where you are going, because every where you go there is atleast one perfect view of japans beautiful scenery.
But there is nothing better than finally getting off your bike and being able to check into your  hotel/ accommodations, because about 80% of the time, where ever you are staying there is a traditional bath, called an onsen by the Japanese people. In general terms, an onsen is like a hot spring, or a spa. It is almost a type of sacred bathing place for the people. You have to wear the convention Yokata, which is a robe, before you enter into the onsen area. You then must rinse your body before you enter the onsen, If you do not you have the possibility of being yelled at by other people for not being clean before thoroughly cleaning yourself. Another very important thing about the onsen is that you must go completely nude with possibly other men inside the onsen as well. Conventionally men and women are separate but there are a few of the co-ed onsens where both men and women are completely exposed. At first it is a very, nerve racking knowing there are other nude men around you, but then after a while you get used to it. There are rules that there should be no staring or any sort of nonsense, and people generally follow those rules.
One down side to the Japanese culture, is that when you go to bed at night after a long hard day of biking. The Japanese sleep on little lightly cushioned mats, called tatame mats. These are not all the comfortable to sleep on after a long ride. Another thing is that the pillow they give you, is like a rice sack. It is hard and feels as though it was filled with some sort of grain. Not all that comfortable but it was a place to sleep. I had some bad back pains after waking up in the morning and I felt like I didnt get much sleep, but after taking a quick moment in the onsen, it usually loosens things up.

Stream of Conscious 2000

Well ok I need to have this filled in with over 200 words and I really don’t know what to say except random things. I like writing stream of consciousness because it just flows… get it! Because it’s a STREAM of consciousness and a stream ‘flows’! hahahahha dang I crack myself up. Now I don’t really know what else to say because im kind of a boring person and nothing really intelligent comes out of my mind unless I really have something serious to think about. I really hate it when you are in an argument and then later on you start to come up with good come backs, I absolutely hate it I wish I could invent a time machine and go back in time to tell myself what to say. Like sometimes my girlfriend and I would have a small disagreement and we would argue over it. Over 90% of the time I would win, but later on I would think back and remember some of the other things I could have said instead of the other. Oh my god Mr.Lee distracted me and now im really behind on words >< Jaehee already has over 600 words and look at me I am practically less than 6 times his >< this is very disappointing.  Oh my got I get soo distracted. I really don’t want to do this but I really have no favorite memory. There are things that usually I just don’t really remember, I just live on and do whatever it takes to do well and live happy, which right now I am not all that happy but the only thing that really does make me happy is my girlfriend Josie. I have a sound hold on my relationship and im happy with it, but then you can have those things that don’t make you happy, like I am not happy with family issues of my grades…. Whatever. My hands are getting somewhat fatigued from typing this much . Im not really on the computer all that much and typing, usually just on the phone talking or texting and usually either reading or studying. I see my gf on a daily basis almost for about three to six hours. Which I think is a lot considering all the other people around.  As you can clearly see I am not the best in making these kinds of essays because im not all that good in grammar, neither am I good at spelling for that matter. I just seem to type on what needs to be typed and don’t look back. Sometimes I think that is a problem for me because I never really lok back in what I just wrote I just write and on top of that my keys are somewhat weird and my fingers feel wakward stumbling over the keys and such. I just feel mediocre at typing and being on the computer. My lefst hand seems to be more tired than the right one.  Owwwwwww My left hand just hand a cramp in it. This is horrible why would I ever do such a thing but this is life and my fingers are really slow at typing.

Cheating?

Cheating is still the same and always will be, when someone combines the word cheating and two or three people’s names together, there is usually a problem. Sometimes it can mean they were cheating on a test or possibly a game of some sort. The thing is that there are many different variations of people cheating. Some people only consider that is a girl/boy has a bf/gf and they sexually touch another person, they would be cheating. Some say its anything like kissing, maybe even just talking to them as well. To me cheating is “If it has to be hidden… It’s cheating” because in a relationship there mustn’t be any secret what so ever, because in a relationship you need 100% commitment and trust in each other.
Those that are very lenient and go as far as saying touching is considered cheating then that’s understandable because there might be some other cultures that conventionally are very touchy and go as far as kissing as a greeting. It would be understandable to have such a view where a ‘sex’ touch standard would be implied. Such as some of the few European counties like Spain who greets people by a slight peck on the cheek.
Then there are those cultures or people who view just kissing as cheating, because after all in most Asian societies, women are supposed to be very enclosed and distant. They are taught only to obey the husband or father and to keep out of men affairs.

Honeymoon

For my honeymoon I want it to be on a deserted island a few miles off the coast of a major land mass. There probably wouldn’t be such an island around here but if worse comes to worse, I will build one. No other human beings must be on the island at the same time and no dangerous animals (except maybe a few wild pigs). Everything that could possibly be needed to survive will be provided inside the house.
The reason I want to have my honeymoon here is because it ensures the maximum amount of privacy, it allows you to have the feeling of being alone with your loved one for a period of a few days or weeks. This is also a test to see if you can stand being alone on an island with your loved one. The island will have an abundance of fish, food plants, and animals to hunt to have that thrill of the kill sort of feeling. There will be an emergency satellite phone if something were to happen and a boat stationed inside a cave on the island to make any trips that may be needed.

Advertising: Information or Manipulation

Advertising is manipulation of the human mind to purchase a certain brand of product. Huge companies invest millions of dollars into advertisement in which they believe they are “Informing the public” of new and improved materials. Realistically within the advertisement s are subliminal messages that persuade people to buy that certain brand even though there may be other cheaper alternatives. Yes there is an understanding that the big companies have a lot of money and may be able to produce a more reliable product, but wouldn’t it be more reasonable is everyone handed out a product that was just as equal for the same low price. Big companies spend months creating commercials with small innate details to get people to buy their product. Things such as: Bright flashy eye catching commercials, people using the product (look happy and proud), back ground details, and sometimes to even go as far as even the way the logo looks, there can be a subliminal message without you even knowing it. There are many examples of big name companies adding subliminal messages into their logo/brand/ advertising. The main focus of their underlying message is ‘sex’ and professors say that without a doubt subliminal messaging works. The reason why this works so well is because the human mind or the subconscious is much strong that the mind that is on the lower level, or the conscious level. The subconscious level has a strong effect on what a person will do next. This is the reason why big name companies as gaining so much money, because they portray a subliminal message of sex, people are more likely to buy that product because subconsciously they are thinking about sex when they have it.
