Favorite book?

My favorite book

My favorite book so far is actually a book series, one of which is the book “A Madness of Angels” and “by Kate Griffin, based in modern London filled with magical beings. It is about a guy who wakes up finding himself in his room after he has just been killed (resurrection), but he is no longer the same person but two people fused together. Half electric angel, which are beings that live within the telephone wires as pure electricity and half Jonathon smith, whose body the angel has come to inhabit. He soon finds out that he has been gone from the earth for two whole years and everyone believes he is dead. Their main goal is to try to find out who killed Jonathon (attacked him). He embarks on a journey in which he encounters old friends and enemies that he must defeat to find out who had killed him. He makes new acquaintances and together they finally find out exactly who had killed him many years ago, it was his old teacher or his shadow. They believe when a person starts to die a part of them tries to hang on to life and sometimes their shadow becomes that evil that wants to keep alive and the reason they attacked him before was because they wanted to get the electric blue angels on to the earth so that the shadow can eat and obtain all of the energy the angel inside of Jonathan has. He defeats the shadow in one last heroic stand but loses a woman who he loves.
The way the author writes the book is much like modern time London, but in it adds the old mythic beliefs of magical and sorcery. There are to three other book in the series called the “Midnight Mayor”, “The Neon Court” and the “Redemption of Jonathon Swift”. I am looking forward to reading the whole series. I am already half way through the second and I have the third book in my possession, but the last one won’t be released till later this year.
